Something about printing the brochure makes it real.  There IS going to be a new church in Kansas City because the brochure says so.

A note about cash flow

One of the main deals with planting a church is raising the money to do it.  Our goal for this new KC church is to be self supporting in 3 years at the very latest, and hopefully before that.  Some financial commitments have been made....  But as of yesterday, we had not a lot of cash flow yet.  And although it is a bit of time before we actually start, there are some definite start up expenses already.  Not a lot, but a few.  And today, God showed up.  (Ya know, God shows up EVERYDAY, but today I just happened to NOTICE.)  We received a sizable check in the mail to begin our KC support.  Yeah God.

Everyday I need a reminder that we are doing the right thing.  And EVERYDAY, God is faithful.  Sometimes the right thing and the CRAZY thing are the same thing.  That is usually when it is a God thing.
