We had a great time here in Overland Park Kansas at the Sprint Family Stroll...5K race, walk and costume contest. The guy who crossed the finish line first was wearing feathers on his shirt and some kind of gobbler hat. He was followed shortly by a pilgrim and a native American. The temperature was 68 degrees. Perfect!
You can see we did not get into the costume part of the race. But we did run. With uncle Jeff leading the pack, followed by Judy, then Troy and Janet crossed the finish line together followed by Anna, Lindsey and Mitch in that order. Jake and Judiann were in the cheering section at the finish line.
We just got done consuming all the calories we burned...and so much more!
aw, there's my favorite family. the high school won't be the same without you all there...we will especially miss little Judiann pushing carts all by herself.

Alot of active race running people I am reading about these days, it makes me ashamed that I get winded carrying grocerys up and down the stairs from the car. I should get in shape, before my shape becomes more circlular.
